Palladium Capital’s History
Palladium Capital’s origin goes back to 2001 when Philip Kowatschew joined the Munich based corporate finance and investment firm Blue Ribbon and began developing Central and Eastern Europe related corporate finance activities. Initially, the coverage was focused on the Bulgarian market, adding the Romanian and Polish markets soon after.
The continuously growing activities in Central and Eastern Europe required increasing regional attention and capacity. Therefore, in 2005, the CEE team established Palladium Capital as a dedicated Corporate Finance Advisor focused on Central and Eastern Europe.
Since its inception, Palladium Capital’s active CEE coverage has grown to include Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania and, for selected transactions, German-speaking Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). In the individual countries we cover, Palladium Capital has built a trusted network of special advisors and regional partners through whom we provide specific local expertise. Palladium Capital has steadily expanded its client base and advises regional market leaders, multinational corporates, buy-out funds and banks predominantly in relation to cross-border transactions throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
