Philip Kowatschew – Partner
Philip Kowatschew is Founding Partner at Palladium Capital. He previously worked at Blue Ribbon as Director Eastern Europe where he built the CEE desk. Philip also worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell’s Investment Banking Division (CEE Origination) and in Capital Markets (Credit Trading) at HypoVereinsbank, both in London. He holds a degree in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics and he is fluent in German, English and Bulgarian. Currently, Philip is also Partner at Blue Ribbon and represents Concilius in Southeastern Europe.
Sven Hauch – Partner
Sven Hauch is Partner at Palladium Capital and Founding Partner at Blue Ribbon, an independent corporate finance and investment firm focused on German-speaking Europe. Sven specializes in traditional industry segments such as engineering, logistics and manufacturing. Before starting Blue Ribbon, he worked in commercial banking and management consulting. He is a trained banker and holds a degree in business administration from the University of Bayreuth. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
Lubo Guturanov – Advising Partner
Lubo Guturanov is Advising Partner and a Member of the Advisory Board at Palladium Capital. Lubo used to head the telecommunications business of Siemens in Bulgaria. Prior to that he was General Director of the state-owned companies Resprom and Incoms, at that time the holding companies of the entire Bulgarian electronics industry. Presently Lubo is a Member of the National Economic Policy Council (NEPC) of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA).
Ivan Pavlov – Vice President
Ivan Pavlov is Vice President at Palladium Capital. During the last 15 years Ivan gathered far reaching expertise in media, marketing management, government affairs and corporate finance advisory. Previously, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at Bulgarian National Television (BNT), Founder of the advertising agensy Independent Media & Marketing Ltd. and Member of Parliament (MP) in the 39th National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. As MP he was also a member of the Parliamentary Media Committee, the Committee for strike against corruption, the Economic Committee and the Bulgarian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Ivan holds a master’s degree in Bulgarian philology from the University of Sofia “St. Kl. Ohridski” and a degree in Media Marketing from the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing (BAW) in Munich, Germany. He is fluent in Bulgarian and German and proficient in English and Russian.
Christina Vatcheva – Associate
Christina Vatcheva is Associate at Palladium Capital. Christina specialises predominantly in the industrial services and energy sectors. She holds a master degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia and a master degree in Economics from the University of Braunschweig. Christina is fluent in Bulgarian and German and has good command of English and Russian.
