An independent valuation can be conducted for all or parts of a business or its assets. Such a valuation requires specialised industry-specific know-how to understand the relevant value drivers of the industry segment and the sector-specific valuation trends. Palladium Capital carries out the independent valuation by applying valuation techniques and factors which are widely accepted for the particular industry segment. These usually include a discounted cash flow (DCF), trading multiples, transaction multiples and the net asset value approach, which lead to a fair market value.

Palladium Capital’s valuation services are predominantly rendered to banks that require an independent valuation of the collateral pledged for a particular debt facility; to resolve disputes between buyer and seller; or to validate and confirm an initial valuation including expected synergies and integration costs.
